an Associate Relationship Manager within the Real Estate Sector Team, the Assistant Relationship Manager is a key player in all origination and cross-selling and deep-selling activities.

Your role

General Commercial Support for the real estate sector (+/-40%)
  • You perform analyses on (strategic) clients, sector research and peer analyses.
  • You assist in identifying critical business issues and potential new business opportunities.
  • You are responsible for collecting (strategic) client and sector information and analysing this information for solution selling process.
  • You monitor information- and news services and inform the Relationship Manager/ Sector Head about client and sector developments.
Associate Relationship Manager (+/-40%)
  • You prepare marketing pitches, proposals and, together with the Relationship Manager/ Sector Head, Strategic Originator and the respective product unit, term sheets.
  • You prepare solution teams meetings and monitor the execution of the action points.
  • You assist in managing client service & solution teams.
  • You assist in the origination for products from all ING business lines.
  • You prepare briefing memos and advices for client meetings.
  • You provide commercial input for Credit Applications, Modifications and Reviews.
  • You liaise with product specialists and foreign ING offices.
  • You accompany the Relationship Manager / Sector Head in client meetings if so required.
  • You help maintain client contacts at treasury level and ensure necessary follow up.
Other tasks (+/-20%)
  • You keep various systems up-to-date, particularly Grid and the CRM system (Vantage).
  • You monitor Client Profitability and the realisation of team objectives.
  • You monitor and perform Customer Due Diligence and related compliance processes in support of the Relationship Manager/Sector Head.
