Permanent contract - full time - Brussels

Your role & work environment

You are part of the team ORM Capital & Governance within the Operational and Compliance Risk Department.
You support the business with respect to procedures and measures of the Non-Financial Risk Framework and deliver input for (regulatory) reports with regards to Operational Risk.

Your key responsibilities
Scenario Analysis process

  • Coordination, support of the scenario analysis process and challenge of the results for ING BeLux.
    Non-Financial Risk Framework & Regulations
  • Act as SPoC for the NFR Framework, both for ING Belgium (output) as for ING Bank (input);
  • Translate policies, minimum standards related to NFR Framework into local procedures;
  • Act as SPoC for implementation of new regulations (e.g. BCBS239) with regards to Operational Risk.
    Risk Reporting
  • Deliver input for internal and external reports (NFRD, COREP, STE, ICAAP, GRAR, OR capital,...);
    iRisk SPoC
    Provide 1st and 2nd line community with local iRisk support in such a way that:
  • Every local user is granted authorisation rights on a 'need to know' principle within 2 working days after request;
  • Every local user receives iRisk user training that is tailored to their authorisation role and related activities;
  • Data load/migration activities are performed upon request and data quality issues are transparent and addressed;
  • As SPOC, you support the roll-out of new system functionalities by coordinating participation of 1st and 2nd line community in the User Acceptance Tests and provide functional documentation regarding the new functionalities.

    As an Operational Risk Officer Capital & Governance you have/are:
  • A Master degree or equivalent through experience
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of the organisation structure, processes and activities of ING
  • Good knowledge of the ORM Framework and iRisk
  • Good knowledge of English, French and Dutch
  • Very good at problem solving, communication and self-organization skills
  • A dynamic personality, taking initiative and flexible
  • Willing to work in a constantly changing environment
  • A team player
