Your role & work environment

As a Pricing Expert, you will process pricing dicount requests in line with the established pricing rules, with the aim of achieving margin and volume targets for one or more product categories. You will manage pricing decision process for interest rate products across all customer segments, from rate setting to negotiation. Often, you will have to assess exceptional cases beyond standard guidelines based on very confidential client information.
You will collaborate closely with other Pricing Experts from the Exception Handling Team, with colleagues from the network (across all segments) and with other Pricing Experts from the Pricing COE.

Your key responsibilities
To support the pricing definition process, you will have to understand the different drivers of the client rate (funding cost, risk cost, client characteristics...), product characteristics and client needs. You will balance the interest of the Bank and the customer value to define the fair and optimal price in individual discount requests (taking into account competition and market dynamics), and ensure this is properly documented in the systems and explained to the sales network (and ultimately to the clients).

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and French (English is a plus)
  • Having strong knowledge of lending products

  • Some commercial experience in the network
  • Master degree and/or professional experience from 1 to 5 years in segment (sales) &/or credit area
