And you have as well...

  • a master degree in economics or law (or comparable)
  • strong negotiation skills on CEO/CFO level
  • at least 3-5 years of experience in a commercial function in a corporate environment
  • excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English
  • good oral and written skills in French
  • good knowledge of the most currently used Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook,...)

Your role...
  • Acts as primary point of contact on behalf of ING Commercial Finance, and this as well towards our clients as within our own organization as towards ING Bank, for all matters regarding his client portfolio.
  • Bears final responsibility for the correct follow-up of all agreements made with the client, Operations, Risk and ING Bank, and therefore acts as a pivot between all these stakeholders to ensure good communication and implementation of all those agreements.
  • Takes the lead when complex, structural and/or contractual issues occur with his clients.
  • Identifies possible improvements in the collaboration with the client and ensures a proactive and dynamic client management in order to optimize client satisfaction and client retention
  • Assists the Zone Manager (=hunting/sales function) with regard to the feasibility of the proposed client offer and is thus able to elaborate creative and innovative solutions in the best interest of both the client and ING Commercial finance.
  • Is responsible for the annual client reviews and/or for intermediate reports and presents those to the competent credit committees him-/herself.
  • Takes care of the further development of the relationship with the client in order to maximize our client rentability (cross-selling, adjustments of tarification, finetuning of financing parameters,...).

ING Commercial Finance Belux is a relatively young (°2007) entity within ING Belgium's Wholesale Banking Department, and a full daughter of ING Lease Belgium.
ING ComFin offers factoring services to existing Midcorp and Corporate clients of ING Belgium, and realized an impressive growth over the last 6 years, tripling the amount of bought receivables within this period.
In order to be able to assume our further growth, we are looking for a new motivated colleague to become our 10th Relationship Manager, as part of our young and dynamic team.
