Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Support definition and execution of Euroclear's Corporate Strategy agenda in close collaboration with senior Euroclear management.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to advise strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of strategic projects.
• Major Projects Management: Set-up and run major projects based on ExCo mandates connected to strategy, capital markets and related topics.
• Strategic Planning: Support the strategic planning and investor communication process (in close cooperation with Finance and other relevant stakeholders).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification preferred.
• Proven track record of 7 to 10 years in corporate strategy or strategic consulting (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Oliver Wyman), preferably within a financial services focus.
• A background in a leading strategy consultancy is highly valued, ideally with prior experience in roles broadly comparable to Senior Associate, Junior Manager, or Manager.
• Experience in developing business strategies and action plans.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and industry trends is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external collaborators, senior executives, and board members.

The two area's of the Financial Division include the Finance Services and Facilities Management.

Our Mission is to support the whole Euroclear Group.

This covers: Facilities from Buildings & Equipments to Employee Services, Purchases from Supply Needs to Payments, Accounting from Invoices to Consolidation, Reporting from Businesses to Regulators, Advisory from Cost Center to Board and Corporate Finance from Taxes & Insurances to Treasury.
