Job Description

The Analyst role is a client reporting and AUM reporting subject matter expert, responsible for maintaining high service standards by ensuring that reporting is accurate and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. The incumbent will work closely with TDAM RFP, TDAM Risk, TDAM Portfolio Management, Vendors and TDAM Relationship Management teams in order to meet objectives and ensure success. Reporting to the Manager, Client Support, successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Monthly and Quarterly preparation, delivery and tracking of institutional client statements and reports
  • AUM reporting subject matter expert, responsible for Monthly, Quarterly and Ad-hoc AUM breakdowns
  • Optimizing Client Reporting System usage to deliver seamless client reporting
  • Creating and maintaining procedures for various new and existing processes within the team
  • Lead projects as assigned by management and provide innovative solutions
  • Assisting with creation and delivery of high-level internal and external communication materials
  • Conduct data analysis, engage in problem resolution, and recommend solutions that will contribute to operational efficiency
  • Coordinate support and backup across Client Support Group
  • Track, report and analyze metrics
  • Represent Client Support team and provide updates to outside groups
  • Provide leadership to the team and act as a back up to the Manager


  • University degree in business or applicable discipline preferred
  • 2 years of experience in client reporting, institutional reporting or fund/wealth management business
  • Highly technical with advanced Excel/VBA skills, capable of creating and modifying macros
  • Strong Analytical, Logical and Organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadline driven tasks
  • Ability to remain focused and resolve issues under pressure and in stressful situations
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to understand business logic and workflow in an investment management environment
  • Broad understanding of investment portfolio data, including performance, attribution and holdings
  • Ability to undertake and successfully deliver multiple activities and resolve issues in a complex environment
  • Previous project experience and understanding of TDBG project management methodology would be an asset
  • Ability to work independently, as well as strong ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly and concisely
  • CSC and/or enrollment in CFA program would be an asset
  • Commitment to change and ongoing development
