Location: Toronto, ON, CanadaThe IT Coordinator works closely with the Senior Implementation Engineer, monitoring implementation progress and resourcing, and identifying and assisting in resolving potential issues. The IT Coordinator communicates client requests to development and support teams and aids in assembling marketing and proposal information.
- Project management tasks such as updating project status reports, project plans, project resourcing, budgeting and issue logs under supervision from Senior Implementation Engineer.
- Track iteration progress, act upon and report obstacles ensuring iteration commitments are met.
- Manage collection and documentation of project information.
- Manage preparation of project deliverables such as project documents and workshop presentations.
- Produce reports for scheduled and adhoc discussions with various stakeholders (e.g. Business Unit and IT).
- Support the Senior Implementation Engineer with data integrity concerning the project plan.
- Manage coordination with other programs, projects and teams in the US, Canada and overseas.
- Follow up on project plan activities with project team members and assist in recording updated status/schedule for the plan.
- Create and manage an organized project documentation library so that all team members and/or stakeholders can access the documentation easily.
- Provide timely feedback on any issues with the project schedule or resources.
- Provide detailed meeting minutes for Senior Implementation Engineer review.
- Guide team transparency - clear and accurate project metrics.
- Ensure internal business processes are being followed.
- Suggest improvements to management tools, software, and processes
- Support and help maintain systems for client training, testing and support
- Other duties as assigned
The Department / Team
- You will be working in a shared services team, providing support to both the Systems Design and IT departments of Moody's Analytics/Enterprise Risk Solutions Toronto. These departments are responsible for the AXIS system on an Operating System and Infrastructure level. AXIS is used by actuaries at life insurance companies worldwide
- This Communications/PM focus area translates difficult technical concepts for non-technical clients, coordinates technical meetings with clients and manages technical projects
- Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree) in information technology-related field required.
- Organizational skills to prioritize competing demands, multiple tasks and deadlines
- Team player with ability to interact with people at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in public cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS) using Microsoft technologies (Windows, SQL Server, Active Directory, etc.) preferred.
- Good technical understanding of networking, hardware performance, and configuration issues an asset.
