You will act as a point person to lead on new regional partnerships. You will lead and contribute to the Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS) sales organization by managing and targeting clients/partners with clear and relevant value propositions. You will enable WUBS to rapidly reach targeted clients with appropriate services through a collaborative offering where our product/service is relevant. You will identify potential high-value opportunities in your respective region to realize mutually beneficial business objectives and "hunt" for new opportunities from identification to closure. Aside from this, you will identify revenue growth opportunities via existing relationships and monitor performance through meetings with key partners in-line with partner agreements. You will screen potential business deals by analyzing market trends and strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, and collaborating on deal specifics with senior management.
For such a pivotal role, you will have over 10 years of progressive sales experience and/or channel partnership within a global organization, preferably within the financial services/technology space and successful selling experience with services or intangible products, into a variety of environments, including organizations with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of international payments and foreign exchange products would be an advantage. You will have excellent written English and verbal communication skills, report writing, and presentation skills.
You will also have entrepreneurial skills and style, the ability to prioritize initiatives quickly with excellent time management, and the ability to work within a target driven environment. You have an innovative and creative approach to identifying and winning opportunities. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
