As a Senior Analyst, Business Analytics
you support Repos, Securities Lending, OTC Derivatives and Prime Brokerage service, and will participate in various operational activities that include but are not limited to collateral management, margin calls, settlements and corporate actions. You will independently resolve complex issues and/or disputes with clients and business partners in a professional manner, engaging support from various groups (Front Office, Finance, Technology, etc..) as appropriate, and understand numerous complex products, associated trade events (including accounting activities) including related process flows. Partner engagement is routine and frequent. How You'll Succeed Operational Knowledge
: You will leverage your previous skills in banking operations (ie: client account and transaction processing, payments, settlements, reconciliations and investigations.), and leverage your education and practical experience dealing with complex financial instruments including derivatives, repos, securities lending, etc.. Coaching and Relationship Building:
You will coach junior staff to ensure they understand processes, procedures and the importance of customer service quality. You will also take on some escalated issues as may be assigned, stay in regular contact with internal and external partners to obtain and provide information, as well as respond to request. Analytical Skills:
You will investigate reoccurring anomalies or irregularities to determine their frequency and cause and recommend potential solutions. However, you will escalate issues that are above your level of competence. You will competently and professionally liaise with various lines of business (e.g. Trade Control, Middle & Front Office, Technology) to complete the investigation of discrepancies to satisfactory resolution.
