The Team
We are seeking an energetic, self-starter willing to take on a challenge! The team will deliver a 3 to 5 year enterprise wide, global AML transformation program. The Senior Technical Business Analyst is responsible for the effective analysis, design, implementation and support of web applications and batch processing applications of medium to high complexity for the Global AML unit.
The Role
Independently support the implementation of business applications to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems, by applying their financial and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This may involve rapid prototyping, with requirements and solutions developed on an iterative basis that provides interim deliverables until a final production solution is created. This includes analyzing business and user needs, reviewing business requirements, translating them into proper systems requirement specifications and configuring the system itself.
Some of the key accountabilities include:
  • Creative and flexible in identifying technical solutions to resolve business problems in a rapidly changing, demanding and complex business environment.
  • Must have a detailed understanding of the application systems he/she is responsible for.
  • A good understanding of business systems analysis.
  • Agile and DevOps team experience
  • Integrating 3rd party vendor products experience
  • Experience with onshore and offshore models
  • Experience with complex data, data mapping, user workflows and reporting

What You Will Bring to Succeed
  • 5+ years of Practical experience as a Technical Business Analyst is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in documenting end-user requirements, procedures, and workflow / process mapping
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives
  • Strong interviewing and listening skills - ability to facilitate information gathering sessions with SMEs, and ask probing questions to ensure completeness of end-to-end process captured
  • Demonstrated ability to support stakeholders in decision making, exchange ideas or reach an agreement regarding priorities.
  • Experience with complex data and data mapping and reporting
  • Excellent business writing - ability to clearly and concisely document large amounts of information and convey to several audiences
