Enterprise Real Estate (ERE) resides within Corporate Services. ERE provides a variety of services to support all TD business units across North America. ERE is responsible for the TD retail and corporate global real estate portfolio, providing real estate strategies and solutions that align with the objectives of the Bank\u2019s business units, always ensuring that service delivery is timely, cost effective and meets business needs. ERE Vendor Management resides within ERE Business Management Governance & Support. Our objective is to build a best in class North American Vendor Management team, developing strong successful third party contracts and relationships that support our ERE Vision.

Job Description

The Vendor Manager will drive best in class vendor management through all stages of the Third Party Vendor Management Lifecycle, in alignment with relevant TD policies and methodologies.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
  • Directly manage ERE's High Risk Suppliers, some being TDBG Top 10 vendors, including indirect management of the Facility Management portfolio/category of vendors. This includes responsibility to:
    • Manage category multi-vendor models
    • Governance; Lead and establish with each vendor within the direct portfolio
    • Contract Management; Subject Matter Expert on vendor contracts and monitor contract compliance (including fee/price compliance) and change management per vendor within the portfolio
    • Policy Compliance for adherence with all TDBG and ERE policy requirements, including providing reports to ERE VM Governance Manager
    • Manage Service Level performance, root cause analysis and remediation plans
    • Establish and manage vendor performance scorecards and executive reporting and dashboards on the portfolio of vendors
    • Issue, escalation management and driving continuous improvement
    • Provide all documentation and reporting to support above
  • Exercise (and have deep knowledge of) TDBG Third Party Management Policies applicable to the Third Party Lifecycle
  • SME for ERE stakeholders and business partners on vendor category (vendor and service/commodity)
  • Contingent on TD Policy evaluations thru Ariba and Hiperos, manage vendor negotiations, benchmarking exercises, provide content for contracts and create contract abstracts/onboarding materials
  • Work with ERE stakeholders for applicable forecasting and capital plans pertaining to the vendor category


Requirements

  • 5\u002B years vendor management or related experience and managing multiple Tier I vendors
  • Demonstrated acumen of contract documents and their commercial implications (ie. Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Service Level Agreements)
  • Subject Matter Expertise in the Third Party Management Lifecycle and vendor category
  • Experienced executor, able to navigate the organization to effectively get things done
  • Strong communication, research and analytical skills to synthesize key insights or issues and communicate findings in a concise manner
  • Effective influencer, partner and collaborator, able to bridge across different teams and functions to deliver quality results
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Results oriented and possesses excellent analytical skills to help identify vendor related cost savings and process improvements to drive and maximize vendor value
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and changing circumstances, able to handle complex situations independently and determine what issues require escalation, what make suggestions for improvement
  • Experience in communicating with executive stakeholders at TD and vendor organizations
  • Strong relationship management experience and creating win-win collaborative contracting models
  • Strong computer skills and with Microsoft Office products
  • College / University degree
  • Some experience in Project Management, Six Sigma methodologies (process flows) and Business Case development
  • Knowledge of Real Estate and/or Facility Management categories and industry
