The Role: Associate, Data Assurance

The Location: Beijing

The Team: You will be part of a global and multicultural team

The Impact: You will be a core member in the team of internal risk and control, responsible for contributing to all aspects of the analysis, design, development, building and testing.

  • Evaluate business needs and user requirements within/across team
  • Review and streamline workflow processes and propose solutions/specifications that meet business needs
  • Translate business requirement into product designs, coding and debugging
  • Develop program logic for new tools or analyzes and modifies logic in existing tools
  • Provide regular and effective progress updates to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues
  • Engage with the business users to resolve problems as they arise
  • Create metrics for monthly incidents and prepare quarterly incident scorecard
  • Audit of internal system account and share drive access
  • Audit of supplemental and methodology data
  • Facilitate in checking the data quality for all new potential vendors for all different asset classes
  • Facilitate in vendor notifications analysis and work with stakeholder to identify the impact for production
  • Create documentation and ensure they are all up to date

What We're Looking For:
Candidates must be proficient in all assigned tasks within six months or sooner.
  • Bachelor's Degree. Advanced degree in business, math, economics, or finance strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
  • Superior computer skills in Excel, Word and related applications. Access, VBA, Python and SQL
  • Experience with automation and RPA tools (Blue Prism)is preferred
  • Understanding of equity markets, commodities pricing, and fixed income
  • Ability to assume responsibility, work with others and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to produce analytical documentation on a written and graphical scale
  • Creativity in problem solving
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in demanding situations
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately
