Purpose




Responsible for the payment operations of the region (main branch and sub-branches) for all business lines.

Mission

Main Responsibilities

1. To execute on the different payment systems (CNAPS, SWIFT) and to book in the core-banking system all payment operations:-

  • Internal direct debits
  • Internal transfers with or without conversion
  • Outward domestic transfers (within or cross-city)
  • Outward international transfers
  • Bills remittances (cheques, drafts, promissory notes)
  • Bills preparation and presentation to the clearing house
  • Settlement follow-up (rejection, reconciliation)
  • Inward domestic transfer processing (checking, rejection, booking)
  • Inward international transfer processing (checking, rejection, booking)
  • Inward bills processing (checking, rejection, booking)
  • Stand by order processing
  • Multiple transfer processing
2. To ensure the proper treasury management, in collaboration with the treasury department, for all operations
  • Explicit funding for big amounts, implicit funding for standard operations
  • Nostro Intraday position reporting to the centralized treasury before cut-off and execution of the operations coming from the treasury for position squaring
3. To process the proper approval and reporting into the different legacy system (SAFE, PBOC, CBRC)
4. To apply the AML policy and the management of the alerts
5. To process the proper internal reporting
