Job Summary / Job Purpose

  • Act as primary point of contact and accountability for Cash Management sales and marketing activities for both external and internal counterparties
  • Provide consultation and solutions on full range of Cash Management products, for both onshore and offshore products, to both local corporate and MNC corporate

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks




Business
  • Work with Relationship Managers to proactively acquire new clients and establish cash management relationship with clients
  • Actively sell full range of cash management products and solutions to prospects and existing clients
  • Deepen cash management ties with clients through delivering tailored-made cash and liquidity management solutions to meet clients' sophisticated cash management requirements
  • Regularly visit clients to further cultivate the relationship and to penetrate in the cash wallet
  • Implement and drive business related marketing campaigns
  • Build up strong cash management pipeline and work hard to push for mandates
  • Coordinate on new sales initiative, track and push for deal closing with branches
  • Structure, propose and push for working capital balance sheet products including but not limited to working capital loans and deposits
  • Review client financial profiles to ensure client credit risks are well identified, assessed and managed
  • Act as Global Sales Manager for local corporate to coordinate SG global cash management team to pitch client's global cash management projects.
Financials
  • Achieve business / revenue targets allocated for Cash Management Sales
  • Protect the business' bottom line by regularly reviewing business profitability streams to each case
  • Meet target of new client acquisition as business plan
  • Ensure professional implementation of Cash Management Sales activities including calling plan, call memo, pipeline, etc
Process
  • Conduct effective consultative selling and service that meet customer needs
  • Meet group standard of service quality
  • Response to RfP by delivering high quality cash proposals in a timely manner
  • Build up / present structured quotation of cash management for customer
Team Work
  • Proactively contribute to team performance
  • Cooperative and supportive to other team members
Compliance Issues
  • Comply with money laundering prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, during on-going business process
Other tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Candidate Profile




Academic Background
  • Bachelor graduate in the discipline of international trade, business administration, accounting or economics

Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how
  • With at least 5 years banking experience
  • Solid product and sales knowledge with at least 5 years experience in relevant roles
  • Solid cross-selling knowledge especially on various GTPS products
  • Solid financial analysis and credit assessment skills will be a plus
Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Self-starter and good team player
  • Strong communication skills and fluent oral and written English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Language Skills

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English(both written and spoken)

Computer Skill

  • Well versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must)
