Sales Leader Role (Shanghai or Beijing, China Based)

Our client is a Global FinTech Firm, looking for a newly created role to hire an experienced professional who has strong experience in building sales strategy, business development and team management skills. We’re looking for someone with hands-on initiative, strong leadership, and the ability to build long-term client relationships. This China-based Sales Leader role, focus on building sales and business strategies, business development, team management and growing company footprint in Mainland/ Greater China market. 


You will be involved in activities such as:

  • Exceed the sales target, which is based on new business from new clients and growing an existing base of business
  • Identify new business groups and opportunities within the accounts, and work to replicate success across the team and manage a team of sales and account staff
  • Develop account/ territory strategies and work closely with other sales professionals, product, development, and marketing teams to execute on those strategies to provide world-class products to our clients
  • Uncover client business needs and work with internal teams to determine optimal solutions
  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting and managing the contracts for new and renewal business

You will possess:

  • Min 5 years of sales, relationship and team management experience, preferably in the financial services (must) and corporate sector
  • Prior experience selling Data, Research, Analytics, Cloudbased subscription products (must) 
  • Talented communicator and face-to-face presenter, strong leadership, long-range planning, collaboration and time management skills
  • Skilled at working as part of a team, sharing information, leads, market information, and competitive feedback with product management, sales colleagues, and management
  • Excellent English and Mandarin language skills (must)
