Job Purpose/Background:

The Country Managers team is responsible for business management, strategy, coordination and administrative support to members of the Nordic team. The Nordic team is a team of 35 plus people spread across various locations.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Nordic country managers team and take responsibility for supporting the Business and Office Manager in servicing the wider Nordic team to ensure the consistent delivery of a high quality and seamless service across our client base. 
We are looking for someone working towards their graduate/postgraduate degree, and who is available two or three days per week (equivalent to approximately 16 hours a week). 

The role will suit a student looking to learn about the asset management sector and gain experience in working within office and business management and service. 
 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the team to be able to have and to manage a high-quality working environment


  • Ensuring to have an organized office


  • Managing the team requests related to external, internal visits/visitors


  • Office Supplement management


  • Working together with the marketing teams to keep track of give-away/ material stocks for the team


  • Representing the team as a first point of contact regarding arrangements and internal projects
 
Desired Skills:

  • Fluency in English


  • Proficiency in a Nordic language is a must


  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize effectively


  • Superior attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks meeting tight deadlines


  • Self-starter who can quickly analyze client needs and focus on delivery


  • Proactive team player with good listening skills


  • Ability to develop relationships and to communicate and interact effectively with personnel at all levels within BlackRock


  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs
