Identity & Access Management Technical Specialist

Overview

Identity & Security Operations is concerned with ensuring that Kingfisher employees use their IT systems and access data in a safe and appropriate way. This is achieved by managing user identity lifecycle and access to application and data and by providing core protection through patching and anti-virus & other security capabilities.

Working as part of a team performing 3rd line support activities on a number of core identity and security platforms, ensuring SLA's and KPI's are met for both incidents and service requests; and supporting strategic projects where identity or security operations have a key part to play.

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

As a Technical Specialist, your core responsibilities, activities and deliverables include:

  • Provide 3rd Line support service with root cause analysis and remediation, engaging vendors/partners as required
  • Workload prioritization, incident/request queue responsibility & management, ensuring delivery is in-line with KPIs and SLAs
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation including training and handover to 1 st and 2 nd line teams as necessary
  • Actively support and contribute to project and programme initiatives ensuring successful delivery of roadmap initiatives
  • Identify and deliver service improvement initiatives to bring operational efficiencies, streamline repeatable tasks, etc
  • Driving consistency across locations, ensuring compliance to group standards and processes
  • Demonstrate positive behaviours through ownership and responsibility, engaging customers and key stakeholders for feedback

This role has responsibility for technical services and capabilities including:
• Identity management tools (Tivoli Identity Manager, Microsoft Identity Manager, Cognitum/Calendra)
• Privileged access management (CyberArk)
• SIEM
• Azure AD
• Active Directory

In addition to the principle technologies, knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial:
• Security Operations - AV, encryption, patching/updates
• Other - Office 365, Powershell, PowerBI, SCCM

Qualifications

  • Operational experience in an identity or access management role
  • Knowledge of one or more of the principal technologies
  • Understanding of role or policy based access control models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with competing demands
  • Creative thinker, good problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to own and drive the technical direction and delivery
  • Highly desirable - French language skills
