Business Aligned Compliance Manager - Commodities - Paris
This is an exciting, new opportunity to build out and broaden your Compliance experience within our well-established and growing Commodities and Global Markets business in EMEA.
As part of our Compliance Division this highly visible role is based on the trading floor, supporting Macquarie's Futures and Physical markets businesses.
You will be an integral part of the Commodities and Global Markets Business Compliance team and you will have the opportunity to gain broad experience covering our European Futures Exchanges and related Physical markets activity.
In this role you will be required to advise the business daily with regulatory advice and guidance on rules and internal policies, whilst supporting them with new products and services. In addition, you'll monitor activities including desk reviews and thematic reviews for compliance with the FCA and Exchange rules and requirements. Part of your role will also be to provide relevant training to the business whilst also conducting enquiries and investigations where necessary.
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience of trading floor compliance at a commodity trading or financial services firm (preferred)
- A strong understanding of Commodities, Futures/ETD and Physical markets experience
- Knowledge of the UK and EU regulatory rules and requirements, including FCA and European Exchange rules and requirements is important
- French and English language proficiency
You will have excellent relationship and communication skills, be naturally collaborative, process driven, solutions orientated, pragmatic and proportionate during the course of your duties.
