Global Marketing is committed to maximising corporate reputation, client reach and engagement, underpinned by a strong commercial orientation.  Responsibility extends to developing the business across 80 markets spanning, Institutional, Wholesale and Retail channels. EMEA ex UK accounts for c.19% of third party ASI AUM generated across multiple markets in Europe and the Middle East, through Institutional and Wholesale channels. The region is currently serviced by an established EMEA marketing team with an on the ground presence. The Marketing Executive – EMEA ex UK will be expected to support the Head of EMEA ex UK Marketing, working across markets and channels, and will be aligned to core activities that support the design and delivery of the country plans. The Marketing Executive – EMEA ex UK will be responsible for supporting key market initiatives. The role-holders will be expected to drive efficiency and excellence in delivery, making sure all outputs are delivered to scope and time. The role-holder will need to build effective relationships across the Global Centres of Excellence as well as key Distribution Channel and Product teams. The ability to engage and influence these stakeholders through clear and articulate communication will be essential.

The role will be based in Paris.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the Head of EMEA ex UK Marketing in developing and delivering commercially focused marketing campaigns and contact strategies
• Ensure suite of investment content available through local generation & global leverage.
• Traffic manage Campaign assets through production processes to ensure delivery to time and scope
• Engage centres of excellence to maximise campaign design
• Liaise with the markets Distribution team to ensure follow through
• Design campaigns utilising the full communications mix – PR, Advertising, Events, Digital etc.
• Maximise Distribution adoption of content and campaigns ensuring follow up to capitalise on opportunities
• Ensure all activity aligns and supports the advancement of the Aberdeen Standard Investments brand

• Event management
• Manage operational side of events in the markets, with the support of the Events team for sponsored and flagship events

• Support EMEA ex UK Digital strategy to increase brand awareness and distribute content
• Support direct email strategy in conjunction with the Digital team
• Social Media – Promote ASI and its content through Social Media channels in the markets with the support of Digital team
• Content delivery – Develop delivery through a number of digital channels

• Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes across the EMEA ex UK Marketing team
• Identify process improvement areas to improve efficiency or effectiveness
• Work with Global Marketing Operations to complete process analysis and recommendations for change
• Act as super users within EMEA ex UK Marketing for core Marketing toolsets – e.g. Distribution Hub, SharePoint, Eloqua…

• Budget & reporting
• Help produce monthly reports for the different Group stakeholders
• Support the Head of EMEA ex UK Marketing to manage the EMEA ex UK Marketing budget


Role Requirements:

• A marketing professional with experience working as part of a regional marketing team
• Experience in the delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns 
• Able to engage and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Experience of working as part of a cross functional project team to deliver a common goal
• Familiarity with an investment / financial services product range
• Excellent written & spoken English
