Online Media Manager

Scope Group is looking for an outstanding Online Media Manager who will be responsible for planning and optimising Scope’s online presence, and tracking and reporting on digital media performance. The Online Media Manager will play an important role in our growth story, particularly focusing on getting Scope in front of new audiences.

Your tasks & responsibilities​

  • Participating on / Building up the strategy, planning, execution, and ongoing optimisation of Scope’s online presence
  • Enhance our brand and build strong online communities through social media
  • Find new online channels, forums, and blogs relevant to rating agencies, and introduce them to Scope
  • Create different text forms (guides, news) on topics from finance, economy, business
  • Monitor customer interactions across social media platforms and respond accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Track, analyse and recommend improvements to social media campaigns
  • Support product releases, marketing activities, and company news
  • Supply customers with our content also via Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, and SNL
  • Optimise content for search engine distribution (SEO)
  • Work closely with IT DevOps Team, graphics and editorial teams to generate content for our webpage and social media
  • Set up and optimise company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of social content

Your personal & professional profile

  • Business, communications or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • 3 + years' experience of growing online communities and developing social media campaigns
  • Understanding of financial markets, ideally the rating business
  • Familiarity with SEO
  • Experience with social media automation platforms and CMS
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office, internet and Video Editing Software
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Sound network in the business media community
  • Experience in thinking differently and finding new ways to present content
  • Strong content/editorial judgment, production and writing skills
  • Ability to combine analytical thinking, strategic mindset, and a ‘hands-on’ working style
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German, more languages are welcome
  • A passion for storytelling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
