Main tasks

The IT Infrastructure Expert will be in charge of:

• Maintaining and supporting Client & Server environments
• Supporting End users and technical teams in incident analysis and resolution
• Maintaining the Network based on Cisco & Siemens devices
• Maintaining Security devices based on Fortinet
• Analysing and resolving of virtual and physical network related incidents
• Providing support and guidance for OT teams in network management
• Supporting the hardening of IT and OT devices by enforcing policies and monitoring access to them.
• Participating in planning and execution of IT-related projects
• Providing a 24/7 support (on call duty)

Specific Knowledge

• 3+ years experience in IT-Infrastructure
• Ability to work in Industrial Environment
• Strong knowledge in client and server OS (Windows necessary, Linux is an advantage)
• Good knowledge in O365 challenge (Skype/Teams especially) and cloud proxy technology
• Strong knowledge in Network technology: LAN/Routing on Cisco (certification is an advantage) and optionally Siemens network devices
• Good knowledge in WLAN technology: Cisco Wireless Controller
• Basic knowledge about Firewall/IPS management (Cisco and Fortigate)
• Basic knowledge on Routing protocols: static, OSPF and WAN routing
• Basic knowledge of F5 products especially the F5 Big IP APM
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Design and Architecture (Azure, AWS, OCI,..)
• Knowledge on optical fiber connection analysis and splicing is an advantage.
• Knowledge on Alcatel Lucent telephone systems and FTA infrastructure is an advantage.
• Effective communication skill with non-IT users

Languages:

• German (mother tongue),
• Fluent English is required
• Any other language will be considered as a plus.
