In this position you will be part of the Group Sales team, reporting to the global transactional pricing leader. You will drive best practices and governance for transactional pricing and profit leakage on core products, accessories and services. You will partner with local Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams, as well as with global functions. Your scope will include all potential sources of price leakages, including instruments and accessories, but also freight, warranties, and service.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Accurately track and report on pricing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Drive timely reporting of Price KPIs to the intended audiences, including Business Leadership, Sales Force, and Sales Operations
  • Develop and implement pricing tools to improve price at the point of sales
  • Drive meeting cadence, review schedule and content
  • Ensure leadership attention and diligence on the topic
  • Define action plans, in collaboration with country leadership and global commercial excellence staff
  • Drive follow up on key actions items, coordinating tightly with all relevant parties
  • Diligently drive continuous improvement to enhance overall price realization

Your profile:

  • University degree with a focus on economics, business, finance, management or related
  • 5 – 6 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Commercial Finance or Business Controlling
  • Analytical – able to quickly analyze and assess the situation based on data
  • Process-driven – strong continuous process improvement mind-set and experience
  • Results orientation –delivers results on time and consistently
  • Communication — effective at any seniority level, creates followership
  • Work outside of regular business hours and flexibility to travel
