Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets plc (LBCM) is the business name for Lloyds Banking Group's new Non-Ring-Fenced Bank. As a response to the ring-fencing legislation, LBCM services our Commercial Banking clients with Markets Financing and Financial Markets Product needs.
As part of our client proposition in LBCM, a new European investment firm is being established in Germany that will become operational in March 2019 to deliver products and services to our European client community.
The firm will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets and will provide Bond distribution, Credit Sales and Trading Services to our European community. The firm is in the process of recruiting for roles within support functions and are seeking highly motivated and passionate individuals who will help to drive and expand the business at the forefront of our European client business.
This role is based in Frankfurt based and reports to the Head of Finance (Senior Manager) LBCMW. The role is broad covering business partnering, FP&A, external reporting some ledger control and is supported by a Shared Service Model arrangement.
SAP ledger oversight, reconciliation and maintenance
Review and challenge of the actual monthly and year to date results
Support and partnering of the LBCMW businesses
Support of preparation of the packs/decks for local business teams
Preparation of business and executive level reporting
Review German external reporting to BaFIN and Bundesbank
Liaison with multiple service providers including integral relationship with Accounts Payable and External Reporting teams in Berlin via the Shared Service Model
Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
Other regular and ad hoc executive reporting as required
Qualified accountant with proven experience in Finance.
German speaking preferable
Knowledge and experience of Debt Capital Markets & Credit Trading
Stakeholder management experience
Ability to build relationships and implement change
Experienced in problem solving and finding innovative solutions
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Advanced excel and good PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail and analytical review skills
Self-motivated, driven, ability to deliver to tight deadlines, passionate and wants to make a difference
