The Sales Executive for our Collateral Management solutions will have the following core responsibilities:
  • Selling FIS Capital Markets products focused on collateral management (operations, optimization, inventory management) solutions
  • Managing the sales process in all phases; from acquisition, negotiation to closing to hand-over to the implementation team
  • Developing new contacts with existing and new clients
  • Closely cooperating with our pre-sales consultants to arrange perfectly organized workshops and well thought-through presentations for potential FIS clients
  • Managing the contractual & commercial negotiations with existing and new clients
  • Actively participating in the creation / review of all marketing and sales collateral
  • Market Research, prospecting and building up own sales pipeline. Focused on new business with some account management aspects (hybrid role geared towards new and add-on business)
  • Actively participating in / co-organization of conferences, sales events, user groups etc.

We're looking for…
we are looking for an experienced Sales Professional to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt to sell well established, cutting edge trading software solutions into the Capital Markets space.

The successful candidate would have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
  • University Degree or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience in finance (preferably in bank, sell-side institution or at Fintech vendor)
  • Sales experience with proven closing skills in a similar environment
  • Understanding the complexity of selling software, mainly into bank
  • Great communicative skills / enjoying the contact with clients
  • Well connected in the German banking sector
  • Working autonomously and pro-actively
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • IT Affinity
  • Fluent in both German and English - written and oral
  • Willing to travel both regularly within and less frequently outside the sales territory
