Senior Business Architect/Data Integration Specialist (female/male)

Field of activity

The ICOS Development team is responsible for the development and maintenance of key components of the index calculation platform. The team is split between different locations (Eschborn, London) and cooperates closely with other units in various locations across the globe. You will complement the ICOS Development team with the implementation of standard and customized index concepts, application maintenance and system and data architecture in a complex business process and data warehouse framework.

 

Tasks/responsibilities

  • ETL  process and application design for standardized and customized product requirements
  • Implementation of complex business rules and index concepts
  • Maintenance and design of a complex & challenging data warehouse environment in a shift pattern
  • 3rd level application support partly in shift cycles
  • Performance optimisation of the various DWH components and business rule engine
  • Technical design documentation
  • Business requirement analysis
  • Design and execution of test strategies
  • Close collaboration with business units and support in requirement specifications

 

Qualifications/required skills

  • University degree in Computer science or a comparable education
  • Experience with ETL tool  Informatica or similar application
  • Experience with Oracle or other relational databases, PL SQL and stored procedures
  • Experience with Control-M or other scheduling tools
  • Experience with Oracle’s APEX technology
  • Experience with big data technologies
  • Experience with different scripting methods for file transfers
  • Domain knowledge of the index business (security reference data. pricing data, corporate action processing, operational index life cycle)
  • A high motivation to support and operate a complex & challenging data warehouse and business rule engine environment
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to details
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills are an asset
