Senior Associate / Manager Finance, Successful Turnaround Fund, Munich, Germany

Our client is a successful and growing turnaround firm investing in SMEs across various sectors in Western Europe. It is now looking to hire a Manager Finance. In this position, you will be a significant member of the firm's finance team and will also work closely with the operational units within the portfolio companies. The position is based in Munich, Germany.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the fund, including initial consolidation and deconsolidation of subsidiaries
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and half-yearly financial statements
- Maintenance and further development of reporting and consolidation software (LucaNet)
- Main point of contact for accounting (HGB and IFRS) in the portfolio companies as well as contact person for auditors
- In close cooperation with operational units, you will analyse deviations between actual and planned figures and prepare analyses and comments on results on a monthly basis
- Review and processing of special questions concerning portfolio firms
- Further development of existing tools for investment controlling / management
YOUR PROFILE - University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines with a focus on Accounting, Controlling, Audit or similar
- Initial professional experience in audit, ideally in consultancy for LucaNet, in a Big 4 firm or in internal audit or investment controlling
- Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel
- Experience with LucaNet is a strong plus
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills
- Native German and fluency in English are required
