Description

Job Purpose:
  • Develop new benchmark index models alongside structuring, quant analysts and technology
  • Daily production and reconciliation of benchmark index models cross asset
  • Support the Citi Investment Strategy (CIS) business
  • Manage Asia relationships
Job Background/context:
  • The team develops and manages all Citi benchmark indices globally and cross asset class
  • Continued growth in the business has meant that we are looking to increase the size of the Benchmark Administration Team globally
  • Periodic travel may be necessary for cross training.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the local contact for all Citi Benchmark Index enquiries for APAC stakeholders
  • Become the local expert on Asia benchmark indices cross asset
  • Work with the existing India team to calculate and reconcile Citi's benchmark index strategies cross asset class
  • Work with the existing APAC and London teams to develop and improve Benchmark Index processes
  • Work with the existing APAC and London teams to migrate all asset classes on to a multi asset technology platform


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a relevant field
  • Experience with Benchmark Index Calculation (Cross Asset) highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of corporate actions essential
  • Excel experience essential
  • Experience of working in a global team setup is essential
  • VBA experience an advantage
  • Experience of programming languages such as C++ or Java, or scripting languages such as Perl and Python would be advantageous
