An international financial services firm is looking for a high calibre candidate to join as Asian Equities Settlement Associate/ Analyst. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an US based investment bank providing investment banking, research, sales and trading and prime brokerage services. Due to the continued growth of the organization, a need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join their Operations team in Hong Kong

As part of the Asian Operations team, you will be responsible for daily trade settlement of Asian equities.  You will monitor day to day settlement procedures, communicate with internal and external parties to solve settlement problems, ensure all processing transactions are complied with relevant regulations and in-house policies as well as process / ensure trade data in front and back office system are consistent and reconciled.  You will also take part in ad hoc projects as required.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with up to 2-3 years of operations and settlement experience covering Asian equities with a securities firm or investment bank. You should be responsible, self-motivated and independent together with sound PC skill. Good communications and interpersonal skills.  Fresh graduates with relevant summer internship experience will be considered for the role.
