We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Alternative Investment Group Specialist.

In this role, you will

  • ​Responsible for alternative investment function supporting the investment management activities in HSBC Alternative Investments Group including line management of the middle office team.
  • Ongoing interaction with service providers and counterparties for HSBC Alternative Investments Limited products
  • Assisting Chief Operating Officer with the operational aspects of the business including financial tracking and group requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate operational risks in day to day operations

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • ​University degree in a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge and experience of private banking is an advantage
  • Experience in alternative investment function is an advantage
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office including Power Point and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with other teams
  • Strong interpersonal skill by demonstrating high level of initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge and adapt to ongoing change
  • Good communication, presentation and influencing skills and managing stakeholders across multiple disciplines and lines of business
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is preferable

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
