My client, an international solution vendor, is hiring an application support analyst to join their team. Basic to mid-level SQL and HTML experience is required. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
  • Providing technical support to teams within the organisation, and to external clients when required
  • Assisting with systems integrations
  • Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date
  • Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Managing coordination at a local and international level where required
  • Install standard upgrades/updates/patches/releases as necessary, investigate, research, replicate test and resolve client issues in a timely manner (off hours upgrades required)
  • Moderate and diffuse client problems through effective listening skills, positive action, information gathering and/or ticket escalation

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years customer technical application support experience is required
  • Degree holders in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Able to understand business requirements, implement systems and prepare test
  • Knowledge in SQL and HTML
  • Strong communication in English
