Our client is a leading international bank that focusing on investment banking and securities brokerage services. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to recruit an Application Support Analyst in Hong Kong.
- Focus on providing application support for Back Office Systems
- Responsible for all issues that arise from end users
- Provide hands-on technical support
- Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues by monitoring, problem detection and resolution
- Manage incident resolution and reporting
- Support and develop scripts for daily operations
- Follow IT policies and procedures as set forth by the management
- Build tools to assist in the maintenance of the environments
- Performance optimization for the total system
- Provide & distribute technical documentation to users and other support team members
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines preferred
- Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience in finance industry, preferably in banking and brokerage firm
- Justify solid experience on supporting large scale systems
- Good knowledge of Back Office Systems (i.e. Settlement, Treasury and Risk etc)
- Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must
- Excellent desktop troubleshooting and performance analysis skills
- Good knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL & Sybase
- Sound knowledge of reports tools and Others like Control-M, Informatica, Business Objects, GMI, Swift, FlexAccount, SAS, IT2 etc.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
