Application Support (Listed Derivative/ Top iBank/ PERM)

Our client is one of the top global investment bank and it is currently seeking for an experienced talent to become their Front-office Application Support (Listed derivatives), whom shall work with traders on day to day basis and provide support on the electronic trading platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day to day support contact for listed derivative front-office and middle office personnel
  • Support Front Office Trading systems (Fidessa, ULLLINK,etc.)
  • Perform daily SOD system health checking, monitoring and testing
  • Build, automate and maintain monitoring tools
  • Coordination and manage software vendors
  • Develop and maintain runbook documentation and procedures for identified scenarios
  • Work closely with satellite locations and region and global teams in support of the business
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis on possible system solutions and propose clear choices for business consideration
  • Participate in shifts, weekend activities and bank holiday coverages on rotation basis

 

Requirements

  • University qualification with IT major
  • Minimum 6 years working experience in Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure to development and support of Listed Derivatives Trading application, Equites Trading application, FIX client connectivity, DMA.
  • Experience in Fidessa/ ULLINK platform
  • Good knowledge in Futures & Options products and markets rule
  • Very good knowledge and skills on Unix/ Linux, scripting, SQL and Excel;
  • Familiar with change management and incident management process;
  • Experience in supporting traders is a pre-requisite for this role
  • Self-motivated and fast learner in rapid environments are essentials
  • Proactive, independent and proven ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and team working skills;
  • Able to work on flexible working arrangements including morning/weekend/holiday coverage when required
