Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Hong Kong & China Funds, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the responsible business channels/segments in Hong Kong / China that will cover brand building, event planning and management, product marketing, marketing campaigns and communications across offline and digital channels. The role will also be engaged to support selected regional marketing initiatives as and when needed.
 
 
Major Responsibilities


  • Marketing strategy development and implementation against Hong Kong / China business priorities


  • Planning and execution of marketing campaigns and thought leadership programs


  • Marketing collateral creation for product sales support 


  • Collaboration with other marketing functional groups within the organization to deliver the marketing efforts


  • Event planning, materials development and onsite management


  • Conduct and analysis of marketing research 


  • Marketing budget planning and control

 



  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related degree is preferred


  • At least 8 years’ experience in all-rounded marketing, incl. event management


  • Strong marketing skills across strategies and channels


  • Good understanding of the investment or the mutual funds industry across markets


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese/Mandarin


  • Ability to think strategically while strong in execution and dealing with details


  • Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses


  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; Responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Flexible in approach


  • Strong sense of governance to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements


  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding, fast paced environment, and handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with quality output at one time
