As part of the continued efforts to build the leading Private Bank in Asia Pacific, a regional structure with front to back alignment has been established to leverage and coordinate key resources and priorities

  1. FLDS Control and Monitoring team will act to strengthen the control framework as well as to ensure compliance of all Hong Kong booking platform operational activities with the respective local regulations and regulator
  2. Maintain an effective control environment and execute and detail operational and - where applicable - supervisory controls according to PB Division standards; ensure accurate follow-ups to performed controls, where required
  3. Ensure Front Office adherence to local and global standards related to the Advisory Process under Investment Suitability (IS) Framework and other controls, in particular:
  • Investment Suitability (IS) Assessment
  • Accurate documentation and disclosures under IS requirements
  • Comprehensive IS profiles for all clients
  • Monetary Benefit Disclosures
  • Treatment of Conflict of Interest
  • Cross Border Activities


You Offer
  • University graduate
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in private banking industry
  • Proficient understanding of the regulatory landscape in Hong Kong and Singapore
  • Background in private banking risk management, controls or internal audit would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back process would be an advantage
  • Analytical and problem solving skills and process review with an understanding of risks and impacts in a banking environment
  • Mature, winning personality and an outstanding collaborator with a can-do attitude
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all management and personnel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and to be proactive in all situations
  • Able to handle complexity and time constraints as well as work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively and actively across a range of individual and groups
  • Independent judgment with risk assessment skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required given the nature of the role and client base the role serves.
