Assistant Collections Officer
RBWM Chief Operating Office - Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Collections Officer.

Principal responsibilities

  • Handle debt collection cases and apply devised recovery strategies so as to maximize recovery and protect the Bank from potential losses and improve profitability
  • Perform daily operations on collection case assignment with external debt collection agencies
  • Handle customer complaint and branch enquiry on the debt collection matters
  • Prepare MIS /ad hoc reports for management review
  • Provide administrative supports including invoice settlement, account maintenance and documents archive, etc.

  • University degree / Diploma in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
  • With banking experience, preferably with exposure to debt collection operations
  • Knowledge of relevant banking systems such as Online Banking System (OBS) and Computer Assisted Collection System (CACS) etc. an advantage.
  • High integrity; knowledge in banking regulations and compliance
  • Strong self-motivation, with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of application software (Skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
