Our client is a leading global investment banking group with strong presence worldwide. To further strengthen their market positioning, the client is for talented finance professionals to join their team as an Assistant Finance Manager in their financial reporting, group consolidation, and transfer pricing teams. These roles start off as a contract headcount with view to extend or turn into a permanent position.

 

As an Assistant Finance Manager in the financial reporting team, you will be responsible for the following:-

  • Financial control activities (e.g. accounting entries, reconciliations, resolution of breaks)
  • Manage daily and monthly FRR reporting of the licensed corporation entity
  • Tax filing computation
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and facilitate with UAT

As an Assistant Finance Manager in the group consolidation team, you will be responsible for the following:-

  • Preparation and input of consolidation adjustments prepared at entity level
  • Preparation of schedules for analysis and reconciliation
  • Preparation and input of journal entries
  • Facilitation and support of book keeping and operations

As an Assistant Finance Manager in the group transfer pricing team, you will be responsible for the following:-

  • Manage group transfer pricing and internal cost allocations within the group
  • Participate in the cost allocation/recharge implementation and act as the key liaison between different stakeholder groups

 

To be considered for the Assistant Finance Manager positions, you possess the following:-

  • University degree holder in Finance & Accounting, or related discipline
  • At least 3-5 years of Accounting experience of relevant experience (additional advantage for those with investment banking or securities brokerage experience)
  • Proficient in using computer (i.e. MS Office applications) and large ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, etc.
  • Financial Reporting Team
    • Knowledge in financial products (such as equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, options, structured products) is an advantage
  • Group Consolidation Team
    • Prior experience or knowledge in group consolidation is an advantage
  • Group Transfer Pricing Team
    • Prior experience in complex group revenue/cost analysis is required
  • Qualified CPA (or in progress to obtain the CPA qualification)
  • Able to manage work pressure and manage deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Big 4 professional firms experience is an advantage
