Assistant IT Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities: - Handle all aspect of the procurement process;
- Gather purchasing needs on hardware, software license and services with internal users;
- Liaise with vendor for price negotiation, terms, lead time etc;
- Follow up purchase orders, delivery arrangement and cost management;
- Manage and evaluate performance of vendors;
- Prepare executive report in ms word format;
- Prepare statistical data using ms excel formula and macros.
General Requirements:
- Degree in Purchasing, Logistics, Business or related discipline;
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in Procurement;
- Strong in problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills and able to work under pressure;
- Good communication with overseas & local vendors;
- Good writing skills (both Chinese & English);
- Good knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing;
- Sensitive in numbers and good in calculation;
- Experience in handling international licenses with global vendors is preferred;
- Working experience in IT related firms would be an advantage.
