Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance and Administration, Private Equity Fund (buyside)

Our client is a billion-private equity firm with strong track record in the region. Due to expansion of business, they are looking for a Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance and Administration and the role is based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

  • Liaise with external fund administrator to prepare and review management and statutory accounts of funds and special purpose vehicles
  • Prepare financial reports and capital accounts for LP investors
  • Prepare and review capital calls and distributions
  • Work with external auditors for yearly audit and tax issues
  • Assist in special projects when needed
  • Assist in some office administration work when necessary

Key requirements

  • At least 4 years of Accounting/Finance experience with Private Equity Fund exposure, or those with Corporate Accounting experience with strong interests in Private Equity industry will also be considered
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Qualified Accountant
  • All-rounded, high adaptability to work in a small office environment
  • Good communication skills and team player, self-motivated and positive work attitude
