We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Operational Support .

Principal responsibilities

  • Support Manager to lead the development of service excellence standards, framework and delivery to drive customer advocacy from Insurance Operation perspective
  • Support to steer and implement service excellence, initiatives to optimize return from cost to serve and customer advocacy for the Bank and Life Insurance
  • Ensure agile operating model from capacity perspective in accommodating business demand and unexpected volume spike
  • Coordinate and refresh the demand statement regularly for capacity planning and volume growth
  • Conduct deep dive analysis for improvement opportunities and implement long term remediation based on the voice of customers, including complaints, incidents and business partners
  • Ensure alignment with business strategy to deliver our strategic intent and business goals
  • Support to prepare executive summaries, packs and appendices for relevant Insurance committees, with appropriate follow up and issue management from Operations perspective
  • Support to coordinate and prepare the monthly pre meeting materials for Executives Meeting
  • Consolidate reporting of insourced and outsourced activities to Group Insurance and management
  • Ensure adherence to policies and guidelines provided by Group and regulators


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​Educated to undergraduate or post-graduate degree level in Business Administration, Operations, Information Technology or a related field
  • Proven and progressive experience preferably incorporating technology and business operations management principles, including service quality, business control and continuous improvement activities
  • Strong analytical skills to understand to translate, simplify and prioritize the requirement as well as root cause analysis for remedial actions preventive measures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required, including the ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence at the most senior level in the organisation.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma are of advantages
  • Understand and interpret complex business and Hong Kong Insurance requirements, including regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work within an environment of different cultures.
