Bond Connect Company Limited (BCCL) is a joint venture established by China Foreign Exchange Trade System (National Interbank Funding Center) (CFETS) and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) to support Bond Connect related services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage client relations and oversee investor onboarding for Bond Connect.
- Engage in the brainstorming, creation and execution of marketing initiatives in partnership with senior management.
- Assist in formulating and executing client development strategy to maximise client adoption and usage of Bond Connect.
- Undertake investor education activities to publicise and promote Bond Connect.
- Gauge investor demand, engage in market research and analysis for product development and regular updates to senior management.
- Creative development of marketing publications and media plans for Bond Connect promotion.
- Assist in monitoring Sales & Marketing internal operations and database, and develop enhancements to cater for changing requirements and business environment.
Job Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in reputable financial institutions on a sales/client facing capacity.
- Master/University degree, preferably in a Finance related subject. MBA/CFA qualification is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of the China bond market and prior experience in handling sales/client relationship in initiatives related to foreign access to Chinese capital markets are highly considered.
- Strong relationships with onshore/offshore market makers, banks, asset managements & other financial institutions, and custodians.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Putonghua, and ability to give professional presentation in English and Putonghua is a must.
- Self-motivated; self-starter; strong leadership ability.
- Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills.
