We are seeking an experienced Associate level business analyst with related industry experience. The candidate must have strong analytical MIS and management reporting background and advanced computer system skills.
•Prepare daily P/L and market share summary, weekly client and product reporting to Global Finance and Asia region management.
•Responsible for revenue drivers’ analysis and revenue related costs analysis - analyze revenue and costs results to budget and current trends. Compare variance results to business drivers.
•Client and Product profitability analysis.
•Cost tracker analysis
•Produce materials for management presentations for business and front office.
•Assist in annual budgeting exercise; prepare budget driver presentation and analysis.
•Support financial and MIS data requests from business/sales & corporate units and from regional senior management.
•Reconcile revenue reporting systems vs source systems.
•Assist in the monthly closing of management P&L.
•Support ad-hoc financial and MIS requests from Nomura Group
Key Experience & Skills
•University degree with major in either finance or statistics. CPA or CFA preferred.
•Minimum of 7 years working in Investment Banking or equity area of banks
•Advanced MS excel, pivot tables, formulas and MS PowerPoint user.
•Good working knowledge of Macro / Access
•Able to work independently
•Team player with good learning attitude. Highly committed, self motivated and able to meet deadlines
•Excellent English written and verbal communication skills - confident to engage with senior business heads
•High regard for attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
•Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase an advantage
