This position will be a key member in the Strategic Planning team where the incumbent is required to develop financial models to assess new business opportunities, to analyze the feasibility of new business strategies, partnerships, products and services. He/she will coordinate with all business and operation units for producing annual business plans with strategic visions.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify, develop and drive local and regional strategic projects and initiatives
  • Implement and undertake market competitiveness research; monitor market developments and collect market intelligence to address opportunities for new business initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses in assessing risks, costs and benefits of alternative decisions and approaches in order to facilitate decision making for strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with different stakeholders, both external and internal, to define and drive product strategies and executions
  • Develop market research; analyze data and make recommendations on potential business opportunities and challenges
  • Engage with senior management on the business strategies across the Group.  Work closely with them to identify regulatory issues & partnership opportunities, and prioritize business opportunities, development direction and plans
  • Prepare management presentations and present findings to senior management

 Job Requirements:

 

  • A degree holder with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or business-related discipline.  Qualifications in Finance or Accountancy would be an advantage
  • Prefer 3 to 8 years of experience in asset management or financial industry, with hands-on strategy and project management experience.
  • Candidate with digital transformation and fintech innovation project experiences is a plus.
  • Experience in implementation of project management processes and methodologies in a large organization
  • Strong business acumen, good analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational facilitation skills, and good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • A collaborative team player and self-starter who is able to work independently
