Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate, Equities Middle Office.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Provide Regional Asia Pacific dedicated support to the trading desks actively across a variety of Equity Derivatives products, ensuring the risk is properly captured in the internal systems.
  • Act as the primary contact to internal and external clients on delivering quality service, independent control, operational risk safety and cost efficiency.
  • Support all change initiatives, advice potential impacts on the current processes and drives change management to increase automation and controls.
  • Assist in building out and implementing a global and robust set of appropriate controls in line with the Global Market
  • Control Framework, also ensure the regulatory framework in place is effective and properly applied to relevant trading activities.
  • Extensively interact with Trading, Sales, Business Management, Legal, and Credit, as well as Operations and Information Technology teams to resolve issues.

  • ​Bachelor Degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Solid years of working experience in operations in investment banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of Equities process flows, front to back trade life cycle and product knowledge.
  • Highly professional and articulate with good stakeholder engagement skill.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work independently, able to take the initiative and accountability but also show a good understanding of team work.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly energetic.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to prioritize and think creatively to resolve issues quickly for the business.
  • Good computer skills.
