Job Purpose (Job Summary):
The general role of the Senior Associate - Marketing is to work within Invesco Real Estate's Global Client Portfolio and Product Management (“CPPM”) team to support the CPPM with primary responsibility for marketing services to prospective clients, coordinating prospect due diligence, completing RFP’s & questionnaires and event management. The individual will also be one of the office-based specialists for the pan-Asia open end product. The role requires the ability to work across several Invesco teams, to provide a timely and efficient service to IRE and Invesco teams, as well as clients, prospects and consultants. The role requires a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills.

 

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Marketing materials – Product ad-hoc and planned marketing materials to support the IRE business and proposals in accordance with IVZ brand guidelines. Assist with the bi-annual production and distribution of the IRE house views. Assist with the preparation of marketing materials for client meetings, events.
  • Be the presentations custodian, working closely with the Presentations specialist in London and Dallas to create new and update existing presentation materials for general and strategy specific requirements. Ensure all materials are consistent, accurate and continually up-to-date. Adherence to IVZ brand guidelines and, where required facilitate compliance sign-off for external use.
  • Support the Client Portfolio Managers (CPMs), wider IRE team and IVZ sales with client relationship management, through proactive and reactive requests for information and ensure timely completion of RFPs and separate accounts, and where required, facilitate compliance sign-off for external use.
  • Work with wider IRE business/marketing team to keep data updates (AUM, Personnel, Transactions, Capital raising & client wins) updated
  • Liaise with IRE’s global product management team to ensure global consistency and co-ordination of client relationship management
  • Events – responsible for planning and organizing the Asia Client Conference as well as and the logistics around IVZ organized/sponsored events and other relevant real estate industry events such as ANREV and ASK. Ability to source speaking opportunities for IRE at relevant industry events required.
  • Press-relations – Support the IRE global marketing team to implement IRE’s strategic and tactical messaging through proactive press program for Asia. Work with the IVZ communications team to co-ordinate press releases, manage press releases and press articles (IREI, AsiaProperty, PERE, MingTianDi, etc)

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate private equity, product management, product development, investor relations, or other related private market responsibilities
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel. Knowledge of CRM system (eg. Salesforce) and dataroom (eg. Intralinks) useful
  • Languages: English, Mandarin (verbal and written)

  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Must work well both independently, and as a team member
