The account management / CRM role should be a building block to helping the sales team embrace a data-oriented focus to their role and help create quantitative frameworks that guide client tiering, resource management, and other decisions relating to our operations. The candidate should expect to work with senior sales people on several concurrent projects that achieve the above. He or she should have a curiosity and interest in working with a world-class financial institution, but does not necessarily need the experience of having worked in one.

  • Ideal candidates should come from statistics, programming, and data management fields who should have an interest in finance
  • Technical and analytical interest defined below is essential
  • Industry experience is not essential

  • Basic spreadsheet, word processing, presentation skills
  • Spreadsheet: Pivot tables, macros, cross-program connectivity, programming languages
  • Data Analytics: Connecting data from Connect, Dealogic, Tableau, Core, etc and combining for analysis
  • Flexibility: Can explore new available programs and work with IT and management to use as needed

  • Able to understand and reorganize multiple data sets to allow management to understand internal resource usage and revenue sources
  • Ability to interpret and question data sets to determine gaps in collection, usage, or output
  • Ability to recommend changes in operational behaviour based on interpreted data

  • Will connect internally to discuss and understand relevant data sets to ensure integrity of information used in account management
    • Examples of collaboration include working with finance, CSA, data, trading, and tech teams
  • Expected to speak to management about interpreted data and recommended actions / outcomes
  • Expected to communicate to sales people recommended actions and profitability outcomes
