Our client, the organization from multi-national finance sector, is now looking for business analyst to join their expanding team

Job Responsibilities

  • Understand systems and business process flow, identify business needs and determine ideal business flow and opportunities for improvement
  • Understand Business products in order to participate discussion with business product owners
  • Design future process model and to build system requirements

  • Propose feasible solutions and drive for implementation
  • Perform product backlog grooming regularly in agile approach
  • Work with business product owners to prioritize initiatives in sprint planning
  • Work with development team on software enhancement and facilitate test-driven development in agile approach
  • Understand data flow and logical data structure, provide suggestion on solutions design
  • Provide effort estimation on time, manpower and any kind of resources that would assist in completing any sprint/ project
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of sprints / projects
  • Manage competing resources and backlog priorities
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business and IT processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Review the deliverables from consultants to ensure quality of the delivery
  • Perform user acceptance testing and user demo to obtain business product owner acceptance
  • Support end-to-end application implementation services and project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems (e.g. auto-testing)
  • Facilitate continuous improvement and implementation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field required
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Agile SDLC
  • Experience within Insurance (Life and Medical) is preferred
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Good team player, open-minded and keen to learn
  • Solid business acumen and integrated and critical thinking
  • Native Cantonese and Good English & Mandarin
