A Top Tier Investment Bank is currently looking for a CEM Middle Office Business Analyst to join their team. They are able to provide competitive remuneration. This role is responsible for a multitude of projects spanning the below areas across Fixed Income, CEM, Rates, FX and Credit business lines.

Summary

The FICC Middle Office Project Team is responsible for a multitude of projects spanning the below areas across Fixed Income, CEM, Rates, FX and Credit business lines:

  • Global strategic business-driven initiatives
  • New products or new business initiative reviews
  • Industry initiatives
  • Regulatory driven initiatives
  • Regulatory survey
  • Operational efficiency & automation initiatives
  • Control governance for Asia FICC Middle Office (including RCSA, IAS and other regulatory controls)

As part of the role you will need to effectively partner with numerous teams such as FO (Trading, Sales, and business management), Legal, Compliance, Middle Office, Back Office and IB wide PMO teams on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and execute projects focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, digital initiatives, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and collaborate across multiple front to back teams to capture and document requirements
  • Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum operating model to the business
  • Drive working groups for multiple projects and manage stakeholder engagement at senior level
  • Review and interpret regulatory guidelines
  • Design appropriate operating models to implement efficient procedures and processes
  • Documentation of operating controls, workflows and roles and responsibilities
  • Test management and coordination

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 yrs or above relevant working experience 
  • Excellent project management skills & a track record in delivering complex projects on behalf of Front Office / Operations / Technology
  • Experience in managing multiple demanding stakeholders with effective communication skills preferred
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility with quick grasp of technical issues
  • A self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Product knowledge on Fixed Income business is preferred
