Chief Credit Manager, Private Banking


  • Collaborate with Corporate/Retail Credit Management Department to formulate credit risk guidelines and procedures for credit products
  • Conduct credit approval and ensure they comply with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with product managers to formulate approval procedures on credit products and portfolio lending
  • Collaborate with Operation Team on credit related operation procedures
  • Evaluate and approve credit proposals
  • Support product and business development with credit risk analysis
  • Identify any emerging credit risks
  • Manage risk analysis of client, transaction structure and collateral to mitigate risk
  • Provide analytical report on Private Banking credit performance to all related parties


  • Degree holder or above (priority will be given to those with credit risk management related qualifications)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in banking/finance, with a minimum 5 years of experience in Private Banking credit risk management
  • Familiar with a wide range of asset and credit products
  • Excellent analytical and credit assessment skills
  • In-depth knowledge in credit risk guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Possess leadership, management, organization, planning and execution skills
  • Experienced in generating and creating credit risk reports
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
