This is a newly created headcount for an O2O internet company based in China. The role will be reporting to the CEO, working with the Finance Director to help prepare the company for IPO in Hong Kong. The role is based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong with travel to Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with major investment banks to prepare the company for IPO in Hong Kong
  • Formulate financial strategies via forecasting capital, facilities, staff requirements and identifying monetary resources and develop action plan
  • Initiate investment and ensure the optimal return on investments by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community
  • Handle the trading transactions and tax-related issues and get prepared for the IPO and HK listing rules compliance
  • Work with management and sales team to make decision in the development of new market
  • Assess new business opportunities to further company growth and profitability
  • Represent the company to partner with financial institutions, banks and taxation authorities
  • Prepare and submit an annual operational budget, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results, taking immediate and appropriate actions; minimizing the impact of variances

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or equivalent in finance, accounting or relevant discipline
  • At least 15 years working experience in a finance function for sizeable companies
  • Must have experience completing IPO processes and have helped companies to get listed
  • Familiar with Hong Kong regulatory and listing rules
  • Competent in dealing with full set of financial statements such as annual reports, interim reports and group consolidation
  • Strong learning ability, open-minded, innovative
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
  • Possess strong determination in meeting the business objectives of the company in accordance with schedules
