Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Relationship Management Business User Support Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing all Client Relationship Management Business User Support Manager queries, issues raised, data and other ad hoc requests which incorporates
  • Evaluation and handling in a timely manner, by taking necessary actions to resolve or conclude or close, including feedback or communication to the requester or involved teams or individuals.
  • Initial triage of issues, escalating through appropriate channels for a quick resolution, raising change requests if necessary with appropriate teams or individuals or finding a resolution him or herself and communicating the resolution back to requester or teams or individuals.
  • Maintaining a central repository of these items for auditing and historical review purposes.
  • Provide analytical, research and project management support on initiatives to address business management issues.
  • Liaise between senior management and regional teams including Retail Banking and Wealth Management as well as global Asset Management teams.
  • The role holder will also be expected to achieve results through influence and persuasion as well as exercise direct authority where appropriate.
  • The jobholder will adhere to, and be able to demonstrate adherence to, internal controls and will implement the Group compliance policy by adhering to all relevant processes or procedures.

  • Knowledge of Asset Management.
  • Logical thinking and good problem solver.
  • Good communication, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work flexibly, is comfortable switching between different tasks, with ability to independently prioritize workload without impacting the deliverables.
  • Accuracy or attention to detail, takes pride in producing accurate and comprehensive delivery.
  • Good skills with Microsoft Office tools, in order to develop and publish quality presentation and training deliverables.
  • Presentation skills, ability to educate and train business processes, concepts, functions and features of the system.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and willingness to learn new system, business processes and product knowledge.
  • Previous or current experience of Client Relationship Management systems and content management systems as an end business user, developer or trainer.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of supporting a business system.
